Faculty members, teaching assistants, administrators, and staff of the Faculty of Specific Education,
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, this distinguished academic and educational institution, which represents one of the main pillars of the system of specialized and applied education. It plays an active role in preparing scientifically and professionally qualified personnel capable of contributing positively to the development of society and the building of humanity.
The Faculty of Specific Education was established to be a unique model that combines academic knowledge with practical application in the fields of education, educational media, home economics, art education, music education, educational technology, and other specializations that serve the needs of society and keep pace with the changes of the times. This is all within the framework of a strategic vision that seeks institutional excellence, quality educational outcomes, and enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates at both the local and regional levels.
The student occupies a central position in the college's operational system, as they are the focus and purpose of the educational process. Therefore, the college is committed to preparing graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to engage with the latest developments in the technological and information revolution, and to utilize modern technology and artificial intelligence in their fields of specialization. This enhances their job prospects and qualifies them to compete in evolving educational and professional environments.
The student occupies a central position in the college's operational system, as they are the target and purpose of the educational process. On the research front, the Faculty places great emphasis on supporting applied scientific research and encouraging studies that address societal issues and developmental needs, contributing to innovative solutions for societal problems. This aligns with the state's focus on a knowledge-based economy, fostering innovation, and linking scientific research to the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030.
The Faculty of Specific Education also plays an active community role through participation in development initiatives, implementing awareness and training programs and activities, and building partnerships with civil society organizations and executive bodies. This stems from the belief that the university is a key partner in achieving comprehensive development, and that community service and environmental development are fundamental pillars of its mission.
The Faculty's progress is based on a system of firmly established institutional values, foremost among them quality, transparency, teamwork, continuous improvement, and good governance. These values are complemented by support for responsible academic freedom, the promotion of a culture of innovation, and openness to scientific and technological advancements, keeping pace with the rapid global transformations in education and training. In closing, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his trust and approval of my appointment to this position, and to His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for his unwavering support of the university education and scientific research system. I also express my deep gratitude to His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, for his continuous support and effective assistance, and to the Vice Presidents of the University for their constant communication and ongoing on-the-ground support for the development process.
I also express my sincere appreciation and pride in all members of the college, including faculty, teaching assistants, administrators, and staff, for their dedicated efforts that contribute to enhancing institutional performance and achieving the college's educational, research, and community mission and objectives. I would also like to extend a special greeting to my students, urging them to continue their hard work and diligence, and to uphold the values of belonging and responsibility, so that they may be shining examples for their nation and university, and capable of actively contributing to the development and progress of the country.
We ask God Almighty to protect our beloved Egypt and to guide us all towards what is best for the nation and its advancement.
And God is the source of all success.
