◼️To enhance academic coordination and improve student services, the Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education and the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs met with the heads of academic departments.
⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to the smooth operation of the educational process, strengthening communication and continuous coordination between the faculty administration and academic departments, addressing student needs, and improving the quality of educational services provided to them, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, held a meeting with the heads of academic departments on Saturday, October 10, 2026, to discuss several topics related to the progress of studies, mechanisms for supporting the educational process, and providing the necessary resources for academic work in a way that contributes to achieving the faculty's goals and aspirations for excellence.
The meeting addressed the regularity of studies in the academic departments, assessed their educational and administrative needs, and discussed ways to facilitate services provided to students. This aims to support the stability of the educational process and enhance performance efficiency within the departments. The meeting also emphasized the importance of coordination between the college administration and department heads in addressing challenges that may arise during the academic year, working to overcome obstacles, and integrating efforts to ensure a suitable learning environment that helps students achieve academic success and develop their academic and practical skills.
Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, affirmed that the regularity of the educational process and providing the requirements for its success are among the top priorities of the college administration. He stressed the pivotal role played by department heads in monitoring the progress of studies, improving academic performance, responding to student needs, and fostering effective communication between faculty members and administration. He explained that developing educational services requires teamwork, integrated efforts, and continuous monitoring of all aspects of the educational process, which will positively impact the quality of educational outcomes and the level of student preparation.
⭕For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, emphasized the importance of continued coordination between the college administration and the heads of academic departments to ensure the smooth running of studies and facilitate services provided to students. He pointed out the necessity of continuously monitoring academic needs and working to quickly address any obstacles that might affect the educational process, thus achieving discipline and efficiency in performance and enhancing the college's ability to provide a supportive learning environment for students in various disciplines.
