The Board of Directors of Distinguished Programs at the Faculty of Specific Education discusses development plans and preparations for the second semester of 2025-2026 at Zagazig University.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University hosted a meeting of the Board of Directors for Distinguished Programs on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salah Sherif Abdel-Wahab, General Coordinator of Distinguished Programs, Prof. Dr. Safinaz Samir, Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Iman Shaaban, Head of the Department of Educational Technology, and several program coordinators.

The meeting discussed several vital topics on the agenda, most notably identifying the necessary requirements to improve the learning environment and develop the academic structure of the programs. It also addressed mechanisms for preparing for the start of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for students in accordance with the latest educational and technological standards. The council also reviewed the study plans for the three programs, assessing their alignment with labor market demands and the university's commitment to excellence and quality.

The meeting further addressed the development of clear mechanisms to ensure the smooth operation of work and support the performance of faculty and administrative staff. The discussions concluded with an open forum for program coordinators to propose any new initiatives.

In his address, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the College, emphasized that the distinguished programs represent a strategic approach that fosters competitiveness and innovation within the college. He noted the college's commitment to providing an advanced learning environment that supports students' skills and meets the needs of the community. He also stressed the importance of continuous coordination among all executive committees to guarantee the quality of educational outcomes and achieve the desired goals. ⭕Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that early preparations for the second semester are part of the college's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational service. He called for enhanced academic monitoring and improved student services to achieve the highest levels of discipline and quality within the distinguished programs.

⭕Professor Dr. Salah Sharif Abdel Wahab, General Coordinator of the Distinguished Programs, emphasized that developing study plans and reviewing academic needs are key components of the quality system the college strives to establish. He commended the constructive cooperation between the coordinators and relevant departments, and affirmed the continued efforts to strengthen areas of excellence and overcome challenges.
