⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's preparations for the new academic year, and in line with the faculty administration's commitment to providing a suitable and comprehensive learning environment for students, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a technical committee from the Engineering Department at Zagazig University conducted a field visit to the faculty on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to review the readiness of several facilities, halls, and laboratories, and to identify any necessary technical requirements before the start of the academic year.
⭕The committee included representatives from various departments within the Engineering Department, including Engineer Ahmed Gaballah and Engineer Mahmoud. The visit encompassed inspections of laboratories, studios, and the basement, as well as examinations of several educational spaces and halls, to ensure their readiness and suitability for the educational process during the upcoming academic year.
⭕The committee also took the necessary measurements for Lecture Hall "D" in preparation for installing benches and completing the required equipment. This will contribute to preparing the lecture hall appropriately for students and enhancing the efficiency of the infrastructure and educational services provided by the faculty.
Professor Akmal Shawky Gaballah, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, affirmed that the faculty administration is continuously working to complete all necessary preparations for the new academic year. He pointed out that preparing classrooms, laboratories, and studios is a key element in ensuring the smooth operation of the educational process and providing a safe and suitable environment for students and faculty members.
He explained that the ongoing cooperation with the university's engineering department is part of a commitment to quickly identifying and addressing technical needs according to priorities. This ensures the completion of all necessary preparation and maintenance work before the start of classes. He emphasized that improving the level of educational services and facilities is among the faculty's top priorities in the coming period.
The Dean also noted that the surveying and preparation work for Lecture Hall "D" is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at increasing the efficiency and capacity of educational spaces and improving the readiness of classrooms to meet the demands of the educational process and student numbers. These measures are part of the college's plan for early preparation for the new academic year, ensuring the readiness of its facilities and educational institutions. This will provide students with a more organized and efficient academic environment, supporting the quality of the educational and training process across all departments and specializations within the college.
